From time to time, as part of troubleshooting, we may ask you to send us a bug report so we can fix an issue you may be experiencing on the device. In order to take a bug report:
Submit Over the Air
With the device powered on, hold the vol up and vol down buttons at the same time and while continuing to hold the volume buttons, press the power button for 2 seconds and then release the power button. Wait for a few seconds for the bug report success notification to appear on your device.
You can generate a bug report using MLDB and The Lab. After opening the MLDB shell, you can enter the command below to generate an encrypted .zip file. Our team can decrypt this file and review the report.
mldb bugreport [-p <PIN>] <zip_file> - return all information from the device that should be included in a bug report. Produce a zip file. (-p: If the device is locked, the PIN must be specified)
Here is an example of the bug report command for a device locked with the PIN "666666"
mldb bugreport testbugreport -p 666666
Here is an example for a device without a PIN
mldb bugreport testbugreport2
