Devices running Lumin OS 0.98 or later have the ability to use natural, conversational language to perform certain tasks (U.S. English only, for now.)
- Enable Speech in the Settings > System > Speech page. The default setting is Off.
- Say "Hey, Lumin" to initiate Speech, and then say any of these commands:
- Open apps by name: for example “Open Helio,” or any other exact app name, then place it in your landscape by looking at the location you’d like to put it and saying “Put it there.”
- Move and place prisms: for example, look at the prism you’d like to move, say “Move this…” then look at the location you’d like to put it and say “...Put it there.”
- Close apps: for example, look at the app you’d like to close and say “Close this.”
- Close all apps by saying “Close everything” or “Close all.”
- Exit an immersive app by saying something like “Exit this” from inside an immersive app
- Open the Launcher Menu by saying something like “Open the launcher”
- Control the volume level: for example, you can say “Turn up the volume” or “Turn it down”, “Mute” or “Unmute”, or set the volume by saying “Set the volume to 6” on a scale of 0-10.
