Can I still buy Magic Leap 1?

What will happen to the Magic Leap 1 Developer Forum?
On September 29th, 2023, Magic Leap 1 Developer Forum (https://ml1-developer.magicleap.com) will no longer be available. Please refer to the Magic Leap 2 Developer Forum (https://ml2-developer.magicleap.com/) for current information and updates on the Magic Leap platform.
What will happen with the Magic Leap Discord Channel?

Will there be any new OS updates for Magic Leap 1?
Magic Leap will only address outages that impact core functionality (as determined by Magic Leap) until December 31, 2024.
Will I still be able to get product support?
Customer Care will continue to offer Magic Leap 1 product troubleshooting assistance through December 31, 2024.
Will my Magic Leap 1 Warranty be impacted?
Magic Leap will continue to honor valid warranty claims under the Magic Leap 1 Warranty Policy available here.
Will my Magic Leap 1 continue to function after December 31, 2024?
On December 31, 2024, cloud services for Magic Leap 1 will no longer be available, core functionality will reach end-of-life and the Magic Leap 1 device and apps will cease to function.

Will this happen again with Magic Leap 2?
While Magic Leap is committed to providing ample advanced notification of any products nearing end of life, Magic Leap 2 is intentionally designed not rely on Magic Leap-operated services in order for the device to function properly.
What does cease to function mean?
When cloud services are disabled, Magic Leap 1 Device Manager, Private App Sharing, and Backup and Restore services will no longer function; and developer and publishing app certificates can no longer be renewed or created which will prevent app installations and updates. Additionally, Magic Leap 1 devices require annual re-authentication and since Magic Leap Identity services will be shut down, users will not be able to re-authenticate.
Will Unity still support building to LuminOS?
Developer certificates that allow building to the device will no longer be available.
